Augmentative & Alternative Communication
The Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Program at In Harmony Pediatric Therapy provides evaluation, treatment and training for children and their families. When a child does not talk or has profound difficulty talking, an AAC device may help the child communicate.
Our therapists evaluate and test many children for AAC devices, including children with:
- Autism
- Apraxia
- Cerebral palsy
- Craniofacial differences
- Developmental delay
- Metabolic and genetic conditions
- Traumatic brain injury
- Dysarthria
